I believe that…

1. The Bible is the authoritative Word of God; that it is inspired and inerrant in its original transcripts; that it is to be trusted, believed and obeyed. The written canon of Scripture is complete and sealed.

2. The One God exists in three eternal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ is the eternal God who entered humanity through the virgin birth, lived a sinless life, and died as the spotless Lamb of God. On the third day, according to the Scriptures, He arose from the grave in bodily form, ascended to heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.

4. Jesus Christ died for the sins of the Elect from every tongue, nation and tribe, the world over,  and His blood is the only atonement for sin.

5. All people are sinners by nature and by deed and separated from God. In and by ourselves we are not seeking after God. There is a literal heaven and a literal hell and salvation from sin and hell and entrance into heaven is through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

6. True saving faith is the ‘gift of God’ and faith in Christ results in repentance, conversion, regeneration and a desire to live a life of obedience to Christ.

7. When an individual receives this saving faith in Christ, he or she is immediately indwelt, sealed, baptized, and endowed with spiritual gifts by the Holy Spirit of God. I believe that the revelatory and sign gifts (such as speaking in tongues, the gift of healing, etc.) were for the apostolic age and have ceased. I believe that God may choose to heal in answer to prayer but that the singular sign gift of healing has ceased.

8. The church is the body of Christ, charged with the responsibility to provide spiritual teaching, worship and fellowship for believers and to regularly observe believers baptism (by immersion) and communion, which are the churches two basic ordinances.

9. Jesus is coming again to rapture (catch away) His church, believers both dead and living. Following this rapture is a seven year period of Gods wrath, called the Tribulation. The tribulation will be ended by the return of Christ, with His saints, to reign on this physical earth for a period of 1,000 years.

10. All true believers are eternally secure and will persevere by the power of God on the basis of their faith alone in Christ alone. The believers works will be reviewed by the Lord Jesus at the judgment seat of Christ, resulting in reward or loss of reward, but not loss of salvation.
